Disclosure/Policies

All books I review on this blog have been purchased by myself, borrowed from friends/family/the library, or received free from publishers, GoodReads FirstReads program, Shelf Awareness, ARCycling, NetGalley (the e-reading thing did NOT work out) or other contests I have won. In the interest of full disclosure and in compliance with FTC guidelines, the source of each book is indicated on its review:


Regardless of where a book is from, I will always share my honest opinion. In all cases, I strive to be fair and explain as best as I can what did or didn't work for me. I am never gratuitously mean in my reviews, but will be critical when necessary. Not everyone has the same taste in books as I do, so it is my hope that both positive and negative reviews will be helpful to readers of this blog.

At this time, I am not accepting any additional books for review consideration on this blog.

    I would like to enter the Banned Book challenge. I do not think I have a URL. Tried entering my name, tried entering my email address. The page is giving me an error. Help???? theresewiese@hotmail.com

      Hi Therese -- Mister Linky will only accept URLs, but you can still join by leaving a comment on the Banned Books 2015 sign-up page and telling us what level you're trying for. Hope that helps!
