If you don't want to get into poetry, that's OK too, but if you do, a change of approach is definitely useful :)Christinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03215797870829907924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3216081229982312439.post-2114881257905748632018-01-21T16:04:23.958-05:002018-01-21T16:04:23.958-05:00It is definitely motivating to see progress like t...It is definitely motivating to see progress like that! I'm not sure I could really stick with it without making the poems feel like homework, but maybe some sort of a "rule" could work for me -- say, by lunchtime or something like that... I'll have to mull it over :)Christinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03215797870829907924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3216081229982312439.post-18129098143824365322018-01-09T18:01:45.637-05:002018-01-09T18:01:45.637-05:00These books look lovely! I'm terrible at poetry, but maybe really tackling one a day would help me stop and focus and try to understand, instead of rushing through everything like I usually do. :)Lisa @ Bookshelf Fantasieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14278177602258496039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3216081229982312439.post-72179917963104073072018-01-08T12:06:47.819-05:002018-01-08T12:06:47.819-05:00I feel like for me if I got too far behind I would...I feel like for me if I got too far behind I would just call it quits. I started a bullet journal this year and I have a daily log for water intake, reading for fun, etc. and that has really helped me stay committed and see what I am doing. I just hope I stick with it. Week one was a success! Also, that cover of the poetry book is GORGEOUS!Kayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03726890988367858211noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3216081229982312439.post-45539910401442428672018-01-07T14:18:29.877-05:002018-01-07T14:18:29.877-05:00Those both look like beautiful books! I've been doing that since November, and I'm due to finish at the beginning of February. I don't allow myself to pick up my "regular" book until I've read my canto for the day, which is probably the only reason I've been able to keep up with it! :)Julie @ Smiling Shelveshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16695465649011617565noreply@blogger.com
